THE WRITERS’ ROOM - Let’s review the last 33 weeks:-

  1. What were the highs and lows of season two?

  2. Which were your top three episodes and why?

  3. Any memorable moments?

  4. What have we learned?

PERSONAL PROJECTS– In this section, we share what we’ve been working on.

Laura is bringing together book two and three in the Everyday Storytellers: A step-by-step guide to writing about your travels, adventures & life - series over the Summer.

Pete is working on a new large format workbook called, ‘Just Say A Few Words,’ which will be a step-by-step guide to writing a simple eulogy.

BOOKS WE ARE READING AND RECOMMEND–What books are we reading this week?

The Book Your Dog Wishes You Would Read by Louise Glazebrook is top of the list to train the new office dog in Derbyshire, Paddington!

Pete is reading, on Laura’s suggestion, 4000 hours by Oliver Burkeman, and absolutely loving it!

“After all, it’s painful to confront how limited your time is, because it means that tough choices are inevitable and that you won’t have time for all you once dreamed you might do.” Oliver Burkeman.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT DERBYSHIRE WRITING SCHOOL THIS WEEK? - How are we building the business this week?
